I'm back in Melbourne!

Hello avid blog readers! I'm back in Melbourne for my 2nd semester.. and it's already been 5 weeks! Time flies...

Before I come back to Melbourne from Singapore, I promised myself that I'll go for most of the Melbourne events. 1) Grand Prix, 2) Moomba Festival, 3) AFL Grand Final and 4) Melbourne Cup. I'd also like to go as a "live" audience in Rove Live.. but all the tickets have already been taken... so.. no luck =/

Grand Prix was boring... fun at the start.. but eventually it's boring.. My friend and I were standing on a hill..and because we are standing and the rest of the crowd in front are sitting down enjoying their cigarettes and $5 Foster beer, we are able to see the track quite clearly. But when the race starts, everybody started standing -_- and we have to keep position ourselves to get a clear view.. not bring or buying a pair of ear plugs is a mistake. I nearly went deaf! At the end of the race, everyone started to rush to the podium.. but my friend and I just waited to leave and take a look at the battlefield i.e. the track. Not many severe accidents (damn!) but it's good to see the track and everything. Wanted to buy a BMW Williams jacket but it costs $150 to $250! So in the end I went home empty handed.

As for Moomba, it fireworks, as usual, is spectacular.. managed to sit along the bank of the Yarra River so we have a good view.. after the fireworks, we decided to go and take a look at the rides.. but it's so crowded that we decided to do a 180 degrees turn when we cannot move anymore.. the only consolation is that there're lots of pretty gals :D

Notice I didn't talk about my school? Because I don't want to :P

Till next time, take care of yourself, and each other (Springer, 2005)

Saying is easier than done

I must tell you all that it is so easy for someone to tell to "take it easy" and "don't worry too much". I, too, did that until now when I'm in their shoes.

When dealing with matters of the heart, even the most logical person can break down easily. When you find someone to rant all these, make sure that the someone doesn't make any unrealistic comments like those listed above. While pouring your inner frustrations and feelings out, you usually need that someone to LISTEN, not someone who make a judgement on those frustrations. Please, comment when you are asked to!

I'm not talking about anyone in particular here... but most people (including myself) usually use those politically correct responds to calm you. Yes, you have to take it easy... saying is easier than done. Yes, don't think too much... saying is easier than done. Yes, do other things to occupy yourself... c'mon, it's not that people have nothing to do and kept thinking about it. WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS! WE HAVE FEELINGS!

And please, don't act cool by saying "be cool about it"; it's not, and never is.

So which one is you?

This quote is taken from Team America: World Police - the lamest show I've seen in my life. But there's some sense in it. A side note: this is also the entry with the most vulgarities.

Enjoy.

There's three kinds of people: dicks, pussies, and assholes. Pussies think everyone can get along, and dicks just want to fuck all the time without thinking it through. Pussies don't like dicks because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes. Assholes that just want to shit on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can fuck a asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is they fuck too much or fuck when it isn't appropriate. And it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes pussies can be so full of shit that they become assholes themselves. Because pussies are a inch and half away from assholes.

There you go... so... which one is you? :P

My current life (part 2)

My life has been voiced out... in such simple words... thanks to a band called Simple Plan

Welcome to My Life

Do you ever feel like breaking down?
Do you ever feel out of place?
Like somehow you just don't belong
And no one understands you
Do you ever wanna runaway?
Do you lock yourself in your room?
With the radio on turned up so loud
That no one hears you screaming

No you don't know what it's like
When nothing feels all right
You don't know what it's like
To be like me

*Chorus
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like
Welcome to my life

Do you wanna be somebody else?
Are you sick of feeling so left out?
Are you desperate to find something more?
Before your life is over
Are you stuck inside a world you hate?
Are you sick of everyone around?
With their big fake smiles and stupid lies
While deep inside you're bleeding

No you don't know what it's like
When nothing feels all right
You don't know what it's like
To be like me

*Chorus

No one ever lied straight to your face
No one ever stabbed you in the back
You might think I'm happy but I'm not gonna be okay
Everybody always gave you what you wanted
Never had to work it was always there
You don't know what it's like, what it's like

To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like (what it's like)

To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like
Welcome to my life
Welcome to my life
Welcome to my life

Things done.. and things that are going to be done

My stay in Singapore is a boring, but important one. Finally got my hair cut and made a new pair of specs *waves goodbye to ERS*. And because of greedy people (refer to post below), things are getting packed up. My aim here in SG is to prepare the required documentation necessary for PR and also to convert my licence to a Singaporean one :)

I'll get my photos done once I dye my hair and then off to get my Certification of No Criminal Offence.

Probably this will be my last holidays here in Singapore... because hopefully I'm able to find a job over there and stay there...

Real Estate Agents are blood suckers

Yes.. the title says it all... why? Firstly, we already paid slightly more than what we should pay for our apartment... now, after the apartment is sold, they want another $10 per week increase? WTF?

I replied that email saying that we already paid more than what we should pay for. If they insisted to increase the rent, we will find another place to stay. Should that happen, I might need to return at an eariler date to settle this shit.. and a few days after CNY is over

GO TO HELL BLOOD SUCKERS
